Head - Supply Chain Management - Manufacturing Firm

Head Supply Chain Management (12-18 yrs)

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, production planning, inventory, warehouse, and inbound/outbound logistics.

- Develop and execute sourcing and procurement strategies to optimize cost, quality, and supplier performance.

- Drive vendor development, contract negotiations, and strategic sourcing initiatives.

- Ensure uninterrupted material availability to support production and customer delivery schedules.

- Oversee inventory optimization, warehouse management, and logistics operations to improve efficiency and reduce working capital.

- Collaborate with Production, PPC, Sales, Quality, Finance, and other cross-functional teams to ensure seamless supply chain execution.

- Ensure compliance with GST, import/export regulations, EHS, and other statutory requirements.

- Lead continuous improvement, digitalization, automation, and supply chain optimization initiatives.

- Mentor and develop the SCM team while driving operational excellence and performance.

- Utilize ERP systems (SAP MM/WM preferred) for planning, procurement, inventory, and logistics management.

Requirements:

- 12-15+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management within automotive or manufacturing industries.

- Strong expertise in procurement, planning, logistics, warehouse management, vendor management, and inventory control.

- Hands-on experience with SAP (MM/WM) or similar ERP systems.

- Excellent leadership, analytical, negotiation, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
