Head - Supply Chain Management

Job Description:

We are looking for a dynamic and strategic leader to head our Supply Chain Management function. The role involves overseeing end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring cost efficiency, timely product availability, and operational excellence across multiple channels.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

- Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives.

- Drive operational excellence across procurement, logistics, warehousing, and distribution.

- Build a resilient supply chain network to support scalability and growth.

Planning & Execution:

- Lead demand and supply planning to ensure accurate forecasting and inventory optimization.

- Oversee inbound and outbound logistics, import/export operations, and last-mile delivery.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and sustainability standards.

Cost Optimization

- Monitor and analyze supply chain costs; identify areas for efficiency improvement.

- Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising service quality.

Technology & Process Improvement:

- Deploy ERP/WMS/TMS systems for real-time visibility and automation.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.

Team Leadership:

- Mentor and develop high-performing teams across supply chain functions.

- Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams including finance, sales, and operations.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, or Business (MBA preferred).

- Strong knowledge of end-to-end supply chain management, global sourcing, and logistics optimization.

- Expertise in ERP/WMS systems (SAP/Oracle) and advanced planning tools.

- Certifications like APICS, CSCP, or Six Sigma preferred.

Skills & Competencies:

- Strategic mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.

- Ability to manage complexity and deliver results under tight timelines.

Preferred Expertise:

- Experience in FMCG supply chain operations, including multi-warehouse and multi-channel distribution.

- Knowledge of import/export regulations and international logistics.

- Proven track record of implementing automation and digital transformation projects.
