Description:
SCM Strategy:
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies for all requirements and ensure early involvement of the business in the development of category strategies
Ensure RM Availability:
- Direct sharing of reports to ensure visibility across the organization
- Oversee the establishment and proper functioning of Control mechanism to reduce plan changes and demand variation
S&OP plan adherence:
- Drive adherence to S&OP process and good supply chain practices across the organization
- Optimize the logistics & warehousing costs
- Drive strategic value from all supply chain assets and resources optimize logistics costs
Network Optimization:
- Work on zero based costing
- Incoterms rationalization
Adoption to technology:
- Periodic review of processes, functioning and adherence to parameters to build value and improve efficiency in SCM processes
Developing the team capability:
- Identification of training needs & encourage participation of each team member
- Ensure team gets required technical training to perform their jobs
- Conduct performance appraisals for the team
- Ensure readiness of identified successors for key roles
Educational Qualifications / Technical Training/ Certifications:
- Masters in Business/Management, Supply Chain/Logistics or related field
- Advanced degree in Management & APICS certification preferred
