Profile : Supply Chain Management Head (Head SCM).

Preferred experience: 15+ Years.

The Role:

As the Head SCM, you will be responsible for developing and implementing supply chain strategies, oversee procurement and inventory, manage supplier relationships, and lead logistics to ensure efficient production, timely delivery, and cost-effective logistics operations while mitigating risks and staying updated on technological advancements and market trends.

Responsibilities:

- Strategic planning Ability to develop a comprehensive supply chain strategy that aligns with the overall business objectives, including planning for sourcing, production, inventory, and distribution.

- Vendor relationship Negotiating contracts, building long-term partnerships with key suppliers, and evaluating supplier performance.

- Inventory control and Management Inventory control techniques, including Just-in-Time (JIT) deliveries, optimize stock levels and minimize waste.

- Warehouse management including Stock audits.

- End-to-end Logistics management Purchase to Client shipment delivery.

- Demand forecasting Basis production targets for the month/ year.

- Process optimization, and

- Fostering cross-functional collaboration to meet customer demand and business goals.

Must-Have Qualifications:

- Bachelor / Masters/ MBA degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or Engineering.

- 15 years of progressive Supply Chain or Logistics experience, with 5+ years in a senior leadership role.

- Hands on experience on strategic sourcing and procurement.

- Hands on experience on Materials and inventory management.

- Hands on experience on Logistics and distribution planning.

- Hands on experience on Production planning and control.

- Warehousing and third-party logistics (3PL) management experience.

- Prior experience of working in a manufacturing environment with understanding of manufacturing processes, procurement of raw materials, and factory logistics.

- SCM or equivalent certification CSCP, or CPIM or CPSM.

- Experience on Strategic planning on the following:

- Development and implementing of SCM strategy.

- Risk mitigation of SCM processes.

- Cost optimization of entire SCM costs.

- Performance analysis of the department and team.

- Team management.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Lean Six Sigma certification.

- Experience in Manufacturing, Industrial or Export Industry environment in the Gurgaon to Bhiwadi Industrial belt.
