Head - Supply Chain

Key Responsibilities

End-to-End Supply Chain

- Own the full supply chain: from procurement through to last-mile delivery.

- Build and manage a resilient, scalable supply chain infrastructure to support rapid growth.

- Drive demand sensing and inventory planning.

Procurement

- Develop and implement procurement strategies to source materials and components efficiently.

- Identify and qualify suppliers, negotiate contracts, and maintain strong vendor relationships.

- Monitor market trends and pricing to make informed purchasing decisions.

- Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Logistics & Distribution

- Manage transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities to optimize the supply chain network.

- Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure smooth inbound and outbound logistics.

- Implement inventory management systems to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.

New Product Development (NPD)

- Streamline the product development process to minimize time-to-market.

- Collaborate with the product team on supply chain feasibility for new SKUs.

- Manage vendor onboarding and material sourcing for new product launches.

- Ensure production readiness and ramp-up plans for NPD introductions.

Order Processing:

- Establish order processing procedures to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and on-time delivery.

- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to prioritize orders and resolve any issues promptly.

- Implement systems for order tracking and reporting to monitor performance metrics.

Manufacturing & Production

- Oversee and guide the Manufacturing Operations.

- Oversee production planning and scheduling to meet customer demand while optimizing resources.

- Implement lean manufacturing principles to improve productivity and minimize waste.

- Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Candidate Requirements

- Experience in supply chain / operations: Background in D2C / consumer goods / e-commerce / quick-commerce.

- Strong stakeholder management and decision-making ability.
