Role Summary:

We are seeking a high-caliber Vice President (VP) Head of Supply Chain Finance to lead the Business Banking vertical. In this critical leadership role, you will act as a "Transaction Banking Strategist," overseeing the integrated performance of Supply Chain Finance (SCF), Cash Management Services (CMS), and specialized Banking Operations. You will be responsible for driving aggressive New-to-Bank (NTB) acquisition, deepening existing corporate relationships, and scaling Current Account (CA) balances. The ideal leader is a results-driven professional who can balance rapid asset growth with prudent credit risk management, while fostering a digital-first culture to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.

Responsibilities:

- Strategic Vertical Leadership: Direct the Supply Chain Finance, Cash Management, and Operations teams to achieve annual targets for business banking advances and fee income.

- SCF Product Advisory: Act as the primary subject matter expert, advising corporate clients on structured finance solutions, including Factoring, Reverse Factoring, and Inventory Funding.

- Market Acquisition & Deepening: Drive aggressive New-to-Bank (NTB) strategies for transaction banking while executing cross-sell/up-sell initiatives to maximize wallet share with existing clients.

- Portfolio Health & Risk Management: Monitor account performance and asset quality, working closely with Risk and Credit teams to ensure prudent lending within defined risk parameters.

- Current Account (CA) Growth: Leverage business banking offerings to drive growth in low-cost Current Account balances, enhancing the banks CASA ratio.

- Operational Excellence & TAT Governance: Oversee the end-to-end Turnaround Time (TAT) for credit sanctions, disbursements, and service requests to ensure a superior client experience.

- Digital Transformation: Lead digital initiatives in transaction banking in collaboration with IT to automate workflows, reduce manual intervention, and improve transparency for clients.

- Team Handling & Performance: Foster a high-performance culture by providing continuous feedback, conducting performance reviews, and building technical capabilities within the team.

- Product Development Coordination: Partner with internal departments to drive product enhancements, ensuring the banks SCF and CMS offerings remain competitive in the market.

- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all business activities, credit decisions, and operational processes adhere strictly to RBI guidelines and internal bank policies.

Technical Requirements:

- Domain Mastery: 12+ years of experience in Business Banking or Transaction Banking, with at least 5 years specifically in Supply Chain Finance.

- Product Knowledge: Deep understanding of Cash Management Services (CMS), Trade Finance, and Working Capital structures.

- Credit Acumen: Strong ability to analyze financial statements and assess the creditworthiness of SME and Mid-Market segments.

- Leadership Depth: Proven track record of managing large, cross-functional teams and delivering results through a "Provide Feedback" leadership style.

Preferred Skills:

- Digital Ecosystems: Experience with TReDS platforms or integrated Corporate Banking portals.

- Stakeholder Management: Ability to influence C-suite stakeholders at client organizations and internal Credit Committees.

- Innovation Mindset: Proven ability to implement AI or Blockchain-based solutions in trade and supply chain workflows.
