Description:


- Executive Hiring is looking for a Sr Leader for a Head - SC, managing eCommerce, Modern Trade and other Channels with a Large FMCG.

- Post Grad / PGDIE / PGDIM from SP Jain / NITIE / IIT Kozhikode/SGSOM with 15-17 exp in an FMCG managing Supply Chain of which at least 2-4 years managing alternate channels.

- The incumbent will be responsible to engage and drive collaborations with MT, E-Com & Quick Com partners for seamless processes and smooth supply chain management

The Role :

1. Account Management for Supply Chain :

- Engage with the key accounts in new generation channel partners in MT, Ecom (Amazon, FK, etc.) and Quick-com to enable business growth

- Develop a deeper understanding of their processes and specific requirements with respect to supply chain and fill rates; Draw insights, identify gaps and opportunities in processes

- Generate ideas, engage and drive collaboration with the partners for joint SC business plans, smooth processes and supply chain management (desired fill rates and replenishment), and get preference at customer distribution centers

- Collaborate with partners for comprehensive data gathering and forecasting analysis, to enable better throughput, accurate demand planning and reduce costs of obsolescence

- Ensure accuracy in predicting demand and control out of stock metric, minimal cost of write offs, obsolescence, etc. Responsible for predicting the demand

2. Road to Market Planning :

- Deep dive and plan with various internal business stakeholders and SC managers to determine and pursue the right road to market for each customer

- Drive changes and remove roadblocks while working with various stakeholders to ensure optimum road to market

- Monitor and track the cost to serve (cost of handling, freight, etc. at distribution centers), optimize for gaps and opportunities, and work with stakeholders to secure best deals

3. Innovations Process & Cost:

- Study patterns/ trends and undertake root cause analysis of erratic demands, availability, etc. to reduce gaps and enhance accuracy of demand planning, inventory management, etc.

- Enable focused data gathering from accounts, understand analytics, draw insights and generate ideas to improve the overall model and drive innovations / strategy modifications

- Seek opportunities for digitization and automation where possible to enhance accuracy and efficiency of processes (enhance service levels and minimize costs)

4. Order Processing Management:

- Oversee and establish strong controls for the central order processing of large number of POs (more volumes of POs than traditional), i.e, processing of PO and servicing of order (run through outsourced team)

- Identify gaps in the process and make recommendations to strengthen automation of processes, especially repetitive tasks for efficiency

5. Stakeholder / Escalation Management:

- Act as a point of escalation for resolution of issues from internal Supply Chain perspective, and external perspective of the accounts

- Deep dive to understand outstanding issues, influence internally and at the accounts team end to smoothly resolve / enable improvements

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as SC teams of Foods and Personal Care, supply planning, other business stakeholders for manufacturing as planned, category development managers for demand numbers and promotions, etc.

6. People Management:

- Support the HR team for recruitment within the team.

- Train & supervise team members to build strong functional capabilities and managerial pipeline for the function; Coach subordinates for their development and growth, conduct performance planning and review with the team.

- Resolve people issues in the team and take steps to enhance team's motivation and engagement; Build a team that is motivated and capable of providing required support and results.
