Description: Location: Punjab Experience: Minimum 15 years Industry Preference: Consumer Electronics (mandatory) Additional Consideration: Candidates from large, established Automobile or Consumer Durable companies We are hiring a seasoned Head Supply Chain to lead and optimise end-to-end plant-level supply chain operations for a leading, fast-growing organisation in the consumer electronics domain. The ideal candidate must bring deep expertise in production planning, procurement, logistics, inventory management, and SAP S/4HANA-driven digital supply chain transformation. Key Responsibilities: Production Planning & Control - Develop and execute production schedules aligned with sales forecasts, capacity, and material availability. - Ensure timely production output by maintaining seamless coordination between manufacturing, planning, and procurement teams. Strategic Procurement & Vendor Management - Drive strategic sourcing, supplier evaluation, negotiation, contracting, and long-term vendor development. - Manage costing, cost optimisation initiatives, and supplier performance improvement plans. - Develop alternate supplier base to ensure cost, quality, and supply continuity. Inbound & Outbound Logistics - Oversee end-to-end logistics planning and execution for both inbound raw materials and outbound finished goods. - Ensure timely dispatches, optimised freight, strong transporter management, and compliance with logistics SLAs. - Implement best-in-class logistics processes to reduce delays and improve service levels. Inventory & Warehouse Management - Lead inventory control strategies to maintain optimal stock levels and minimise working capital. - Enable warehouse optimisation through layout efficiency, FIFO, storage planning, and operational discipline. - Monitor slow-moving, non-moving, and obsolete inventory and implement corrective actions. SAP S/4HANA & Digitalization - Ensure accurate SAP master data, BOM updates, and effective usage of S/4HANA modules across supply chain operations. - Drive digital transformation for enhanced visibility, planning accuracy, and operational efficiency. - Implement dashboards, KPIs, and real-time tracking mechanisms. Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work closely with manufacturing, quality, finance, R&D, sales, and dispatch teams to ensure operational alignment. - Lead cross-functional meetings to address supply issues, production bottlenecks, and demand fluctuations. Cost Efficiency & Continuous Improvement - Implement cost-saving initiatives across sourcing, logistics, warehousing, and planning. - Lead continuous improvement projects under lean manufacturing, Kaizen, and overall efficiency enhancement. Candidate Profile: - Minimum 15 years of experience in Supply Chain Management within Consumer Electronics (mandatory). - Strong plant-level supply chain expertise with leadership experience. - Hands-on exposure to SAP S/4HANA (preferred). - Proven track record in production planning, procurement, logistics, inventory management, and cross-functional coordination. - Experience in Automobile or Consumer Durable industries will also be considered. - Strong leadership, vendor management, analytical skills, and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
