Role Overview:

As the Head Of Supply Chain, based in Mumbai, you will be responsible for leading and optimizing all aspects of our supply chain operations, from procurement and vendor management to warehouse operations and distribution. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, finance, and manufacturing, to ensure seamless execution and alignment with business objectives. Your leadership will be instrumental in driving process excellence, leveraging data analytics for informed decision-making, and implementing strategic projects to enhance supply chain efficiency and resilience, ultimately contributing to improved customer satisfaction and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute a comprehensive supply chain strategy aligned with the company's overall business goals, ensuring optimal efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and responsiveness to market demands.

- Lead and mentor a high-performing supply chain team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

- Oversee the procurement process, including vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management, to secure favorable terms and ensure a reliable supply of materials and services.

- Manage warehouse operations, optimizing inventory levels, storage space utilization, and order fulfillment processes to meet customer needs efficiently.

- Implement and maintain SAP SCM to streamline supply chain processes, improve data visibility, and enhance decision-making capabilities.

- Utilize data analytics to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement across the supply chain, driving data-driven decision-making and performance optimization.

- Drive process excellence initiatives, leveraging methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma, to eliminate waste, reduce costs, and improve efficiency throughout the supply chain.

- Lead and manage strategic supply chain projects, ensuring timely completion, adherence to budget, and achievement of desired outcomes.

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders, fostering collaboration and ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute comprehensive supply chain strategies that drive business results.

- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, mentor, and develop high-performing teams.

- Expertise in procurement and vendor management, including negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management.

- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.

- Proficiency in SAP SCM and other supply chain management software.

- Excellent data analytics skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.

- Deep understanding of process excellence methodologies, such as Lean and Six Sigma.

- Exceptional project management skills with the ability to lead and manage complex projects to successful completion.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.

- 18-28 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, with a significant portion in a leadership role.
