Department: Supply Chain comprising Purchase, Logistics, Planning and S&OP, Quality, Manufacturing, R&D, Engineering & Utilities and Projects, Maintenance and Safety
Reports To: CEO
Role Overview:
To own and integrate end-to-end Supply Chain and Operations across the India business, ensuring reliable customer fulfilment, manufacturing excellence, cost competitiveness, quality, safety, and long-term capability building. The role is accountable for translating business demand into safe, efficient, and scalable execution across plants, suppliers, and logistics networks
Key Responsibilities:
1. End-to-End Demand Supply Orchestration
- Own demand planning, supply planning, S&OP / SNOP / IBP.
- Balance demand, capacity, inventory, and service commitments.
- Act as the single owner of the integrated operating plan.
2. Strategic Procurement & Supplier Ecosystem
- Own strategic sourcing, procurement, and supplier development.
- Ensure cost competitiveness, continuity of supply, and risk mitigation.
- Lead long-term sourcing strategies, localisation, and capacity tie-ups.
3. Logistics, Distribution & Customer Fulfilment
- Own primary and secondary logistics, warehousing, and network design.
- Ensure high OTIF, optimal cost-to-serve, and disciplined execution.
- Manage logistics partners and service-level governance.
4. Manufacturing & Plant Operations
- Own manufacturing output across plants.
- Ensure adherence to production plans, productivity, and cost targets.
- Drive standardisation and operational discipline across sites.
5. Quality, Food Safety & Compliance
- Act as final authority on product quality and food safety.
- Ensure regulatory compliance, audit readiness, and customer trust.
- Lead quality systems and continuous improvement.
6. Engineering, Maintenance & Asset Excellence
- Own engineering, maintenance, and asset reliability.
- Drive preventive and predictive maintenance.
- Ensure statutory compliance of all equipment and utilities.
7. Projects, CAPEX & Expansion
- Own greenfield, brownfield, and expansion projects.
- Ensure delivery on time, within budget, and to performance standards.
8. Safety & EHS
- Own safety culture and EHS systems.
- Drive zero-incident mindset across employees and contractors.
- Ensure audit readiness and compliance.
10. People & Capability Building
- Build leadership depth across supply chain and operations.
- Develop successors for all critical roles.
- Drive performance culture grounded in discipline and respect.

Qualification Experience:
- 2025 years in manufacturing-led organisations with Proven ownership of end-to-end supply chain and plant operations with large complex multiple plant and volatile demand environments.
