Head - Supply Chain - Agricultural Waste

Job Description

A bio energy project by a giant Indian corporate is looking with skills in sourcing of feedstock (agri waste) on PAN India basis.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee the selection, localization, and deployment of post-harvest equipment

- Manage warehouse operations to ensure safe, compliant storage of Agri-residue.

- Implement quality control protocols for feed stock and manage end-to-end logistics from farm collection to bio gas units

- Develop large-scale Agri-residue sourcing strategies to meet production targets while reducing operational costs through mechanization, digital tools, and vendor performance management

Requirements:

- Experience implementing mechanization and digital initiatives in agricultural or bio energy supply chains.

- Demonstrated success in supplier ecosystem development, feed stock quality management, and large-scale logistics optimization.
