Head - Supply Chain

Job Description:

The Head - Supply Chain will lead the end-to-end supply chain function for the organisation, excluding procurement, to ensure reliable product availability, optimised inventory, efficient manufacturing and distribution planning, superior customer service, and cost-effective logistics operations.

The role requires a commercially astute and operationally strong leader with experience in complex manufacturing and distribution environments. The incumbent will build an integrated supply chain that links demand planning, production planning, inventory management, plant coordination, warehousing, transportation, customer service, and supply chain digitalisation.

The successful candidate will balance service, working capital, capacity utilisation, compliance, safety and cost - while strengthening planning discipline and operational responsiveness across manufacturing locations, depots, distributors and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and execute a comprehensive supply chain roadmap to streamline operations and improve inventory turnover across all regional hubs.

- Lead high-stakes negotiations with global vendors and logistics partners to secure cost-effective contracts that support our bottom-line objectives.

- Oversee the implementation of advanced supply chain technologies and data analytics to provide real-time visibility into stock levels and demand forecasting.

- Mentor and develop cross-functional teams to foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement in all logistics processes.

- Mitigate supply chain risks by developing robust contingency plans that ensure business continuity during market volatility or logistical disruptions.
