Role Purpose
The Head of Supply Chain will lead and scale end-to-end global supply chain operations across product development, manufacturing, QC, logistics, and fulfilment. The role connects UK operations with India/Vietnam manufacturing, driving efficiency, compliance, digital transformation, and measurable results at scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the supply-chain strategy for product design-to-delivery across furniture, rugs, textiles and soft-furnishing categories.
- Lead the development of factory partner networks (India/Vietnam), ensuring operational KPIs are met
- Manage production planning, inbound logistics, consolidation (multi-factory, mixed containers/pallets), freight forwarding and UK warehouse receiving.
- Refine UK warehousing, distribution and fulfilment operations: including pick-pack, last-mile, returns handling and replenishment.
- Lead digital supply-chain transformation: implement ERP/WMS/SCM tools, real-time dashboards, QC apps, EDD tracking and supplier portals.
- Set and monitor KPIs across supply-chain: lead time, cost per unit, quality defects, inventory days, fill rate, stockouts, freight cost per CBM, returns rate.
- Collaborate with commercial, design, & finance teams and contribute to forecasting, promotions, inventory optimisation and cost models.
- Develop and oversee budget, forecasts and cost-management for supply-chain operations.
- Negotiate contracts with 3PLs, freight carriers, and manufacturing partners balancing service, cost and ethical standards.

Profile & Experience
- 10+ years leadership experience in supply chain operations within manufacturing, retail or DTC environments
- Proven track record building and scaling multi-category supply-chain systems
- Experience managing manufacturing partner networks
- Strong experience in inbound logistics, container consolidation, freight, 3PL management
- Expertise in digital supply-chain systems (ERP, WMS, planning tools, dashboards) and data-driven decision making.
- Excellent planning and inventory optimisation skills, cost modelling, forecasting and agility in fast-growth environments.
- Strong commercial acumen, negotiation, supplier and partner management.
- Excellent leadership, cross-functional collaboration and change-management skills.
