About the Role

GoldenBridge Search has been mandated to hire a dynamic and strategic Head of Supply Chain Management to lead end-to-end supply chain operations - from procurement to last-mile delivery. The ideal candidate will come with a strong background in e-commerce or digital-first businesses, with a proven track record of driving operational excellence, cost optimization, and customer satisfaction through efficient supply chain planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design and implement a scalable supply chain strategy aligned with business growth and demand forecasts.

2. Oversee inventory management, warehousing, logistics, and distribution across multiple regions.

3. Build strong partnerships with 3PL, logistics, and warehousing vendors to ensure efficiency and cost control.

4. Drive process automation and digitization for better visibility and operational performance.

5. Collaborate cross-functionally with Category, Operations, Finance, and Tech teams to optimize fulfillment rates and delivery timelines.

6. Develop a robust demand planning and forecasting system to maintain optimal inventory levels and minimize working capital.

7. Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing supply chain team.

8. Define and monitor key KPIs such as fill rate, on-time delivery, inventory turns, and cost per shipment.

9. Ensure compliance, sustainability, and best-in-class customer experience across the supply chain.

Ideal Candidate

1. 10-15 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within e-commerce or D2C businesses.

2. Strong understanding of e-commerce operations, warehousing automation, reverse logistics, and last-mile delivery networks.

3. Experience in scaling operations across multiple cities or warehouses.

4. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.

5. Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams.

6. Exposure to supply chain technology platforms and analytics tools (SAP, Unicommerce, Oracle, etc.).

7. Education: B.Tech / MBA preferred.
