Role Overview:
An Indian Chemical Company is looking to hire the Head - Strategy & Business Excellence to be based in Vadodara.
- Drive the organization's overall strategic planning and long-term business growth agenda.
- Identify new growth opportunities across products, markets, customers, and businesses.
- Lead business transformation and enterprise-wide improvement initiatives.
- Establish and monitor KPIs, dashboards, and performance management systems.
- Drive EBITDA improvement through cost optimization and productivity enhancement programs.
- Lead operational excellence initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and best practices.
- Set up and institutionalize Centers of Excellence (CoEs) across key functions.
- Partner with business heads to improve manufacturing, procurement, commercial, and support function performance.
- Support strategic investment decisions, business cases, and capital allocation.
- Establish governance frameworks to track project progress, benefits realization, and accountability.
- Promote data-driven decision-making through analytics and digital tools.
- Manage cross-functional projects involving multiple stakeholders and business units.
- Drive change management and organizational alignment for transformation initiatives.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing Strategy & Business Excellence team.
- Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on business performance and future growth opportunities.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 25+ years of experience in Strategy, Business Excellence, Consulting, Transformation, or Corporate Planning.
- Strong manufacturing, chemicals, industrial, engineering, or process industry background.
- Experience working closely with CXOs and business leaders.
- Proven track record in EBITDA improvement, cost reduction, operational excellence, and business transformation.
- Strong financial acumen, analytical capabilities, and stakeholder management skills.
- Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, Operational Excellence, or Continuous Improvement frameworks.
