The Role: What You Will Build
As VP Strategic Partnerships & Data Partnerships, you are the Chief Deal Architect. You will design, negotiate, and operationalize the partnerships that determine whether we are another platformor the platform.
What You Will Own:
The Global Data :
Identifying partnerships which bring unbeatable value to the company, could be across:
- Consulting firms, emerging companies in the space, which help in bulk/fast scale GTM growth
- Global & regional electronic component distributors, OEMs, EMS players, and channel partners
- Market intelligence, compliance, others data providers.
Strategic Alliance Architecture:
Identify and close partnerships across:
- AI, analytics, and enterprise SaaS ecosystems
- Fintech, trade credit, and working-capital platforms
- Global manufacturing and procurement ecosystems
- Structure win-win, multi-geography agreements that scale with our customers.
Founders Office Execution:
- Act as a strategic extension of the Founder in senior-most global conversations.
- Participate in investment raise and contract negotiations
- Lead high-stakes negotiations involving CXOs, founders, and board-level stakeholders.
- Translate founder-level strategy into executable partnership roadmaps.
From Deal to Platform
Ensure partnerships dont die as PDFs.
- Work with Product, Data, and Engineering to turn alliances into shipping capabilities, not slideware.
- Own post-deal success, leverage, and expansion.
Who You Are: The 1% Profile
You are not a relationship manager. You are a closer who thinks in systems.
The Pedigree
- MBA from a top-tier global or Indian institution (HBS, Stanford, Wharton, INSEAD, ISB, IIM A/B/C, or equivalent).
- 8-15+ years in strategic partnerships, corp dev, business strategy, or platform alliances in B2B SaaS, AI, data, supply chain, or fintech.
The Track Record
- You have closed complex, high-value, multi-country deals.
- You understand data partnershipslicensing, exclusivity, defensibility, and incentives.
- You know the difference between a nice-to-have integration and a category moat.
The Operator Mindset
- Founder-office comfort: ambiguity doesnt scare you; it energizes you.
- Global stamina: night calls, international travel, and cross-cultural negotiations are table stakes.
- Executive presence with deep listening skills.
