Head - Strategic Alliances - Mutual Funds & Wealth Management

Role Overview:

A leading mutual fund and asset management organization is seeking a Head Strategic Alliances to lead strategic distribution partnerships and drive business growth. The role will be responsible for expanding partner networks, strengthening relationships with distributors, family offices, and High Net Worth clients, driving sales across investment products, and owning the profitability of the strategic alliances business.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and expand strategic distribution partnerships to drive business growth and market penetration.

- Acquire and manage relationships with distributors, family offices, High Net Worth clients, and institutional partners.

- Drive sales across mutual funds, treasury management, and investment solutions to achieve revenue targets.

- Lead, mentor, and enable channel partners and internal teams to improve productivity and business performance.

- Monitor business performance, profitability, and partner engagement through regular reviews and portfolio servicing.

- Own the Profit and Loss of the strategic alliances business and deliver growth in line with organizational objectives.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

- 10-15 years of experience in strategic alliances, distribution sales, wealth management, or asset management.

- Strong network across distributors, wealth intermediaries, family offices, and High Net Worth investor ecosystems.

- Deep understanding of mutual funds, treasury products, and financial markets.

- Proven track record of driving business growth and managing strategic partnerships.

- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, negotiation, and presentation skills.

- Willing to work onsite from Mumbai.

Strict Exclusions:

- Candidates without experience in mutual funds, asset management, wealth management, or treasury solutions.

- Predominantly traditional banking operations or non-distribution backgrounds.

- Pure back-office, operations, or support function profiles.
