Head - Sourcing & Supply Chain - Consumer Goods

Role & responsibilities:

Strategic Procurement & Sourcing

- Lead procurement strategy across direct and indirect spend categories

- Drive cost optimization and value engineering initiatives

- Develop global sourcing capability including China+1 / multi-country sourcing strategies

- Build supplier diversification programs to mitigate concentration risk

- Lead contract negotiations and commercial governance

- Establish commodity intelligence and price benchmarking mechanisms

- Drive ESG and sustainability sourcing initiatives

- Build category strategies for key raw materials and finished goods procurement

Supply Chain Management

- Lead end-to-end supply chain planning including demand planning, inventory governance and supply continuity

- Drive warehouse network optimization and logistics efficiency

- Improve service levels, OTIF performance and SKU availability

- Optimize inventory levels and working capital

- Drive SLOB reduction initiatives

- Build resilient planning and replenishment frameworks

- Strengthen logistics partnerships and freight optimization

- Improve forecasting capability and planning accuracy

Supplier Ecosystem Development

- Develop strategic vendor partnerships

- Drive supplier capability development

- Build alternate sourcing strategies

- Implement supplier scorecards and governance mechanisms

- Lead supplier quality improvement initiatives

- Strengthen supplier compliance and risk frameworks

- Drive supplier digitization initiatives

Digital & Transformation

- Lead digital procurement and supply chain initiatives

- Drive analytics-based decision making

- Improve supply chain visibility platforms

- Introduce AI / automation led procurement capabilities

- Strengthen ERP and planning systems utilization

Leadership

- Build and develop high-performing procurement and SCM teams

- Drive cross-functional collaboration across manufacturing, finance, operations and commercial

functions

- Develop succession and capability frameworks

Preferred candidate profile:

- 18-25+ years experience

- Strong exposure to global sourcing and procurement

- Deep SCM and planning expertise

- Experience managing large procurement spends

- Strong vendor ecosystem management capability

- Exposure to ERP / SAP / Digital SCM tools

- Proven experience driving cost transformation and working capital improvement
