Position Title - Head - Shared Services Finance Operations (Finance and Accounts)

Position Bank - Associate Director

Reporting To Deputy CFO Team Size 20+

Legal Entities - 6+

Location - Mumbai

Purpose of the role:

To Head the Shared Services Finance Operations function for all the Group entities housed within F&A which includes processes around accounts payables, accounts receivables, bank reconciliation, fixed assets capitalisation and all other allied processes related to these processes. This involves reviewing existing processes, streamlining them, framing policies, procedures, ensuring operating efficiencies.

Functional Responsibilities / KPIs:

- Develop and execute the shared services strategy for Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

- Overall, in-charge of all processes - AP, AR, bank reconciliation, fixed assets capitalisation etc.

- Analyse costs along with cost management team and provide meaningful insights on cost control measures

- Ensuring complete documentation support for all payments processed & strong vendor on-boarding & regular vendor evaluation process.

- Ensuring compliance with Delegated Authorities & continuous monitoring.

- Working with Resources team and Banks on various bank signatory related activities.

- Ensure along with Tax team various indirect tax requirements.

- Ensuring payments are processes correctly and in timely manner.

- Ensuring documentation support (agreements, proof of service delivery) for all incomes booked including checking from regulatory perspective

- Continuous follow up for debtors, advances, employee advances etc

- Ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and continuous improvement of processes

- Manage external and internal audit requirements related to AP/AR activities (Statutory, Internal etc.)

- Focussed approach on bringing operational efficiencies

- Champion automation and digital tools (RPA, AI, OCR, ERP enhancements) to streamline AP/AR processes

- Ensuring adequate control over fixed assets

- Ensuring bank reconciliations are performed daily and entries are accounted in a timely manner

- Publish various reports on regular & adhoc-basis

- Drive transformation initiatives, including process standardization, automation, and digitalization

Qualifications - Finance professional (MBA Finance, M.com, CA, ICWA etc.)

Experience - Min 15 years

Functional Competencies:

- Sound knowledge of systems (Oracle or other ERP's), Adv.Excel etc.

- Good presentation skills & Eye to detail

- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies
