About the Role:
Luminous Infoways is looking for a high-ownership, result-driven Sales Leader with strong expertise in Government, PSU, and Enterprise IT sales, particularly tender-based and procurement-driven business.
This is a leadership role for a go-getter who can own targets, lead a team, manage complex bids, and work closely with presales, solutioning, and delivery teams to drive sustained growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Government, PSU & Enterprise Sales:
- Own the end-to-end sales lifecycle for Govt departments, PSUs, and large corporates.
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline aligned with annual targets.
- Drive both tender-based and relationship-based selling.
Tendering & Bid Management:
- Identify, analyze, and pursue RFPs / RFQs / EOIs.
Strong working knowledge of:
- GeM & State/Central e-Procurement portals.
- PQ, Technical & Commercial bid processes.
- Coordinate with presales & technical teams to ensure compliant and competitive bids.
- Customer & Stakeholder Engagement.
Build trusted relationships with:
- Govt officials & PSU decision-makers.
- Corporate CXOs & procurement heads.
- Lead presentations, discussions, negotiations, and closure activities.
Team Leadership & Ownership:
- Lead, mentor, and manage the sales / BD team.
- Own individual + team targets.
- Drive discipline in reporting, forecasting, and opportunity tracking.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration.
Work closely with:
- Presales & Solution Architects.
- Delivery & Project teams.
- Finance & Compliance.
Experience & Background:
- 8-15+ years in IT / e-Governance / Technology sales.
- Strong exposure to Government & PSU procurement ecosystems.
- Proven success in tender-driven sales environments.
Experience selling solutions such as:
- e-Governance platforms.
- IT systems, AI/BI solutions, DMS, ERP, digital platforms , monitoring system, Dashboard, eGov solutions , IOT solution.
Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent understanding of tendering & procurement processes.
- Strong presentation, negotiation & stakeholder management skills.
- Leadership mindset with high ownership and accountability.
- Ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
