Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Plant Commercial & Finance Manager to manage the overall commercial and financial functions of the plant. The role will be responsible for accounting, taxation, statutory compliance, costing, MIS, budgeting, working capital management, vendor payments, receivables, and commercial support to procurement and plant operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the overall commercial and financial functions of the plant.
- Oversee day-to-day accounts and finance operations, including accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Ensure timely and accurate compliance with GST, TDS, taxation, audits, and other statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors and ensure timely closure of audit observations.
- Monitor plant costing, cost analysis, cost control, and variance analysis.
- Prepare and monitor MIS reports, budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
- Track actual performance against budgets and highlight significant variances to management.
- Manage vendor payments, receivables, cash flow, and working capital effectively.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and ensure timely collection from customers.
- Support procurement activities from a commercial and financial perspective.
- Participate in vendor negotiations, commercial evaluations, pricing discussions, and contract-related matters.
- Ensure proper financial controls and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Provide financial and commercial inputs to plant management for effective business decision-making.
- Coordinate with corporate finance, procurement, stores, production, sales, and other departments as required.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization, process improvement, and working capital efficiency.
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with applicable company and statutory requirements.
