Job Title: Sales Head TMT & Structural Steel

Qualification: BE/B. Tech/MBA

Location:

Purpose of the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Sales Head TMT & Structural Steel to establish and lead the end-to-end sales operations for our 2 MTPA integrated steel manufacturing facility in Nigeria.

Job Responsibilities (KRA):

1. Sales Strategy & Business Development:

- Develop and execute comprehensive sales and market penetration strategies for TMT and structural steel products.

- Formulate short-term and long-term sales plans aligned with the plants production capacity and business objectives.

- Identify new market opportunities, customer segments, and high-potential business regions within Nigeria and neighboring markets.

- Prepare and manage annual, quarterly, and monthly sales budgets with clear revenue and volume targets.

- Drive market share growth, brand visibility, and competitive positioning.

- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to support strategic decision-making.

2. Sales Team Setup & Leadership:

- Establish the sales organization structure in line with business expansion plans.

- Recruit, train, mentor, and lead a high-performance sales team.

- Define Key Result Areas (KRAs), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and performance benchmarks for the sales function.

- Build and manage regional sales teams, channel managers, and project sales resources.

- Implement structured performance management systems and incentive frameworks to drive productivity.

- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and customer-centricity.

3. Channel Development & Distribution Network:

- Develop a robust dealer and distributor network for TMT and structural steel products across key regions.

- Identify, appoint, and manage strategic channel partners and stockists.

- Formulate pricing policies, discount structures, and credit terms in line with market dynamics.

- Monitor dealer performance and implement engagement and loyalty programs.

- Strengthen secondary sales channels and ensure effective market coverage.

- Ensure smooth coordination between channel partners and internal operations.

4. Institutional & Project Sales:

- Develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders including:

1. Infrastructure and construction companies

2. Real estate developers

3. EPC contractors

4. Government and public sector agencies

5. Large industrial and corporate clients

- Lead major contract negotiations and tender participation processes.

- Drive specification selling and product approvals for structural steel applications.

- Build long-term partnerships with large institutional customers.

- Ensure customized solutions for high-value projects and strategic accounts.

5. Sales Operations & Coordination:

- Implement effective sales processes, MIS systems, and CRM tools.

- Coordinate with production, logistics, and finance teams to ensure timely order fulfilment.

- Oversee receivables management and credit control.

- Ensure accurate forecasting and demand planning.

- Monitor customer satisfaction and service delivery standards.
