Job Description: Sales Head - Stainless Steel (Domestic and Global Markets) [VP / Sr. VP]

Location: Mumbai -HO (Lower Parel)

Reporting to: CEO.

Position Overview

The Sales Head will be responsible for overseeing and driving sales and marketing efforts for stainless steel long products in both domestic and international markets. This leadership position will focus on developing key accounts, expanding direct channel sales, and building sustainable growth in export markets

Key Responsibilities

- Sales & Marketing Leadership: Head the sales and marketing teams across domestic and international markets, ensuring seamless integration and execution of business strategies managing a large sized team including sales teams from other export market offices, Houston, USA and KSA.

- Market Development: Drive global market development, including on Middle East countries while maintaining strong domestic market performance. Collaborate with sales teams to develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new products or services.

- Revenue Growth: Lead efforts to enhance market presence and profitability in domestic and international markets driving revenue growth from both existing and new markets.

- Key Account Management: Build and nurture relationships with key clients in the Oil & Gas, Aerospace, and Defence sectors.

- Direct Channel Sales: Strengthen direct sales channels to grow market presence and profitability. Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including, suppliers, and regulators.

- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with senior internal and external stakeholders to align strategies and build impactful partnerships. Work with the global offices and sales teams their to mobilize them for their respective local markets.

- Product Expertise: Focus exclusively on long products within the steel industry, with a strong preference for candidates with experience in stainless steel.

- Team Leadership and Development: Build and mentor a high-performing marketing team. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

- Marketing and Product Strategy: Develop and execute strategic initiatives across marketing and product positioning in both new and existing markets. This includes conducting market research to identify trends, deriving actionable intelligence to target customers and segments, planning participation in global exhibitions and trade shows for showcasing the product portfolio, and managing digital engagement and external communications to enhance the brand's visibility and reputation.

Qualifications and Experience:

Experience: 18-20 years of progressive experience in marketing, with a significant portion in the steel sector (Domestic & International).

Education:


- MBA in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

- Proven experience in heading sales and marketing efforts in domestic and international markets.

- Track record of managing high-revenue portfolios

Skills:

- In-depth knowledge of the steel industry (long products, rounds , bright bars) and its value chain.

- Strong leadership and stakeholder management abilities.

- Expertise in strategic planning, market research, and brand management.

o Proficiency in digital marketing tools and analytics.
