1. Purpose:

- The position shall be primarily responsible for Sales in Aluminium segment (in both Primary & Secondary) on all India level.

2. Direct Reports: Sr. Engineer-Sales

3. Dimensions of Position:

- The position will give dimensions on creating profitable revenue from Aluminium segment for all India level. Some of the critical aspects related to this position are as follows -

- Maintaining the Aluminium business in both Primary & Secondary Aluminium.

Product line of Alsi Mono, Plastics, Precast, Fused Silica Launders, Consumables like CFF Bowl, Fluxes etc.

- New Business Development for Aluminium through new Product and Solutions. Adding new customers.

- Product development - Continuous interaction with R&D & M&T for new Product development. Updating of new technology and operation parameter

4 Key Result Areas:

4.1 Sales :

- By maintaining present sales

- Adding up sales from new product and solutions

- Creating channel sales through dealer

- Placement of service team to cater site requirements.

4.2 Doing regular customer visits to understand demand for our products, making presentations, promoting Products performance benefits to client with continuous before and after sales service support.

4.3 Regular monitoring and capturing Products performance report to evaluate customer's tangible business benefits and prepare case studies / success stories for future business reference.

4.4 Regular visit and interaction to understand customer's processes / operations and keeping track of any changes in production trend. Understand and monitor the shutdown planning of customers.

4.5 To evaluate Competitor's activities in terms of product technology, applications, qualities, pricings and deliveries of their products.

4.6 Constantly evaluate the performance of a product at the customer sites, report any customer complaints / problems promptly in recommended format, initiate the initial site level fact findings, data collection etc.

4.7 Maintain and establishing the performance data and analysis for the new solutions.

4.8 Provide training to site supervisors, plant manufacturing, QC & R&D on customer process, application technology and product technology.

Experience & Qualifications:

- BE/B.Tech/Diploma in Ceramic/Chemical/ Mech from a reputed institute.

8. Experience:

- Min 12 years of relevant Industry exposure, preferably in Sales of Refractory in Aluminium Industry.

- Candidates having good Application experience in Refractories and basic knowledge in Monolithic/ brick product technology are preferred.

- Candidate must have basic knowledge on Refractory Installations and operation parameter in Induction Furnace

8. Knowledge:

- Knowledge of Refractory application & products, particularly Monolithic.

- Exposure to Induction Furnace industry segments will be an added advantage.

- Understanding and exposure to customer process in Induction Furnace.

- Thorough understanding of Refractory installation of NRM and other relevant products in Induction furnace

9. Skills & Behaviour:

- Strong analytical ability

- Good Communication Skill (Written and verbal) - good command over written & spoken English. Spoken Hindi skill is also essential.

- Relationship building and High on Interpersonal relationship

- Computer skill & Engineering drawing reading skill

10. Problem Solving & Complexity:

To lead the Technological advancements at sites and execute a strategy that places strong emphasis on rigorous process discipline and puts the quality aligned with the Sales growth.
