Job Description:
A senior leadership role responsible for driving business growth, profitability, and market expansion for the Metal & Mining Business Unit-both in domestic and international markets. The incumbent will lead strategic sales initiatives, manage key customer relationships, and ensure revenue and margin targets are achieved through a mix of business development, client management, and cross-functional collaboration with delivery, legal, and risk teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead overall sales strategy and business acquisition for the Metal & Mining BU across global markets.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities while maintaining and expanding existing client relationships.
- Manage end-to-end sales lifecycle including lead generation, RFQ/RFP response, proposal preparation, pricing, and contract closure.
- Align sales objectives with BU profitability targets, ensuring commercial and technical viability.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and pricing assessments to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
- Partner with internal teams to ensure timely delivery, client satisfaction, and project compliance.
- Handle key and strategic accounts, drive client feedback loops, and ensure issue resolution.
- Expand BU's footprint by entering new markets and diversifying customer and project portfolios.
- Oversee team performance, training, and succession planning to strengthen sales capability.
- Ensure adherence to legal, contractual, and risk management frameworks during project finalization.
Customer & Market Focus:
- Strengthen long-term client partnerships through regular engagement and feedback.
- Improve customer satisfaction and brand perception by addressing service gaps and ensuring timely deliverables.
- Act as a brand advocate, enhancing renewals, referrals, and cross-selling opportunities.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong technical understanding of metals, mining, and EPC/EPCM business dynamics.
- Expertise in international and domestic sales, pricing, and contracting.
- Excellent analytical, commercial, and negotiation acumen.
- Proven leadership in business growth, client management, and team development.
- Strategic mindset with strong relationship management and problem-solving skills.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
A strategic, industry-recognized sales leader with deep domain knowledge of the metals and mining sector, capable of steering the BU's growth through market intelligence, customer partnerships, and value-driven solutions. Prior exposure to international projects and EPC/EPCM contracting is highly preferred.
