Sales Head - With Leading Label Packaing MNC Company (15-25 yrs)
Location : India
Reporting To : Managing Director
Role Overview:
The Sales Head will be responsible for driving revenue growth, leading the sales team, expanding market presence, and managing strategic key accounts. This role requires a strong blend of leadership, business development, and relationship management capabilities within the packaging/labeling industry.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Leadership & Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and manage the national/regional sales team to achieve revenue targets
- Set clear KPIs, performance metrics, and sales targets for team members
- Drive a high-performance sales culture through coaching, training, and regular reviews
- Build and scale the sales organization aligned with business growth plans
2. New Business Development:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across target industries (FMCG, pharma, logistics, etc.)
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand market share
- Build strong pipelines through prospecting, networking, and partnerships
- Lead negotiations and closure of high-value deals
3. Key Account Management (KAM):
- Manage and grow relationships with key clients and strategic accounts
- Ensure high customer satisfaction, retention, and account profitability
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts
- Act as the escalation point for major client issues
4. Revenue & Strategy:
- Own overall sales revenue targets and P&L contribution
- Analyze market trends, competition, and customer needs to refine strategies
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and supply chain teams for seamless execution
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to leadership
5. Market Expansion & Branding:
- Strengthen brand positioning in the Indian market
- Explore new geographies and industry segments
- Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred)
- 15+ years of experience in sales, preferably in packaging, labels, printing, or allied industries
- Proven track record in team handling, new business acquisition, and key account management
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Strategic thinker with execution focus
