For a leading Investment Banking and Financial Services organization in India with a strong presence across multiple financial domains, we are looking for an experienced professional in our Merchant Banking Division having experience of Business Development/Sales activities.
Role & Responsibilities: Position:
- Experience in merchant banking or investment banking is highly desirable- Lead and manage institutional equity placement transactions including QIPs, private placements, and pre-IPO rounds.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional investors, mutual funds, family offices, and PE/VC firms.
- Collaborate with clients to understand funding requirements and structure placement offerings accordingly.
- Coordinate with internal teams, legal advisors, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and timely execution.
- Prepare marketing materials, pitch books, and investor presentations.
- Handling deal origination and Business Development/Sales initiatives.
Candidate Profile:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in large equity sales or placements
- Strong network and relationships with large investors
- CA qualification preferred; candidates with MBA (Finance) or CFA will also be considered
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Experience in merchant banking or investment banking is highly desirable
