Key Responsibilities:
- Own the city's sales strategy and revenue goals; build and execute plans to onboard and retain high value partners.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a city sales team through coaching, analytics, and performance tracking.
- Identify, onboard, and expand partnerships with restaurants, grocery stores, kiranas, and local brands.
- Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, business associations .
- Analyze market intelligence and competitor insights to shape pricing, incentives, and expansion plans.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, and Product teams for seamless partner experience and operational excellence.
- Track performance metrics - sales funnel, conversion, partner revenue, and retention - using data to optimize outcomes.
- Represent DigiHaat at city events, industry associations, and ecosystem engagements.
Requirements:
- Fluency in Tamil is mandatory for effective communication and on ground leadership.
- 6-10 years of experience in B2B sales, account management, or city leadership roles (preferred: food tech, e commerce, or retail tech sectors such as Swiggy, Zomato, Dunzo, Amazon).
- Proven track record in scaling city operations, managing large teams, and achieving sales targets.
- Strong understanding of Chennai's business landscape, merchant ecosystem, and customer trends.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Analytical approach with proficiency in CRM tools, dashboards, and performance analytics.
- High ownership, agility, and passion for building something impactful from the ground up.
