Head - Sales - Food Products

Our client is a large diversified group and this requirement is for their fast growing food organization. They sell Pulps, Concentrates, Frozen Foods, Purees, IQF etc to large corporate clients in India and globally.

They are looking to hire a Head of Sales who will be responsible for growing this Foods business and add more large clients.

Role:

- Lead B2B sales for fruit and vegetable pulps, purees, concentrates and IQF products.

- Drive business with large food, beverage, FMCG and food-processing companies.

- Develop relationships with Procurement, R&D, Product Development and Commercial teams.

- Lead new customer acquisition, product trials, commercial negotiations and annual contracts.

- Grow existing accounts and identify new applications and markets.

- Own sales targets, pipeline, pricing and revenue growth.

- Work closely with manufacturing, quality and supply chain teams to meet customer requirements.

Candidate:

- 13+ years of experience in B2B sales in food ingredients, processed foods, Frozen Foods etc.

- Proven experience selling to large corporate/institutional customers.

- Strong understanding of consultative, solution-led B2B sales.

- Experience dealing with Procurement and R&D/Product Development teams.

- Strong track record in new business development and key account management.

- Experience in pulp, puree, concentrates, IQF or similar food products is a must.

- Strong commercial, negotiation and relationship-management skills.

- Strong team management skills.
