About the Role:

We are seeking a highly accomplished and visionary Head of Digital TV Business to lead our comprehensive Digital TV operations across Pan India. This critical executive role is responsible for defining and executing the strategic direction, accelerating revenue growth, and ensuring the sustained profitability of our Digital TV portfolio. The incumbent will lead a dynamic team of senior leaders spanning sales, operations, and client services, playing a pivotal role in shaping our market presence, cultivating robust client relationships, and driving long-term business success in the rapidly evolving digital television landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Vision:

- Develop, articulate, and implement a robust, long-term business strategy for the Digital TV division, ensuring complete alignment with the overall corporate objectives and market trends.

- Identify emerging opportunities and potential challenges within the Digital TV ecosystem, proactively adapting strategies to maintain competitive advantage and drive innovation.

- Champion a forward-thinking approach, integrating new technologies and business models to enhance the Digital TV offering.

Business Growth & Sales Management:

- Spearhead aggressive revenue growth initiatives by expanding market share, identifying and securing new enterprise clients, and significantly deepening engagement and revenue streams with existing key accounts.

- Oversee the entire sales lifecycle, from lead generation and pipeline management to contract negotiation and closure, ensuring ambitious sales targets are consistently met or exceeded.

- Implement effective sales methodologies and performance metrics to optimize team productivity and market penetration.

Team Leadership & Development:

- Lead, inspire, and mentor a high-performing team of leaders across sales, operations, and client services.

- Foster a collaborative, innovative, and results-driven culture, empowering team members to achieve their full potential and contribute to collective success.

- Drive talent acquisition, retention, and professional development initiatives to build a resilient and highly capable workforce.

Client Relationship Management:

- Cultivate and maintain strong, strategic, and executive-level relationships with key clients, acting as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for high-value accounts.

- Understand client business goals and challenges deeply, ensuring our Digital TV solutions are precisely tailored to meet their evolving needs and contribute significantly to their success.

- Proactively address client feedback and ensure exceptional service delivery, fostering long-term partnerships.

Innovation and Market Insight:

- Continuously monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and technological advancements within the Digital TV and broader media sectors.

- Identify and champion opportunities to introduce new solutions, technologies, or services that enhance and expand the Digital TV portfolio, ensuring market leadership.

- Drive product and service innovation based on market demands and client insights.

Operational Excellence & Efficiency:

- Oversee all operational processes within the Digital TV division, ensuring seamless, efficient, and high-quality delivery of services.

- Implement best practices for operational efficiency, cost optimization, and continuous improvement in customer satisfaction.

Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and standards.

- P&L Accountability & Financial Management:

- Assume full P&L accountability for the Digital TV division, meticulously managing budgets, forecasts, and financial performance.

- Develop and execute strategies to ensure financial targets are consistently met, profitability is maximized, and return on investment is optimized.

- Provide regular, insightful financial reporting and analysis to senior leadership.

Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is highly preferred.

Experience:

- Minimum of 18+ years of progressive leadership experience in the Digital TV, Broadcasting, Telecommunications, or Media & Entertainment industries, with a strong focus on revenue generation and business growth.

- Proven track record of successfully managing a significant P&L and consistently achieving financial targets.

- Extensive experience in strategic planning, market development, and large-scale sales management across Pan India.

- Demonstrated success in building, leading, and mentoring high-performing, multi-functional teams.

- Deep understanding of the Digital TV ecosystem, including technology, content, distribution, and monetization models.

Skills:

- Exceptional strategic thinking and analytical capabilities.

- Superior leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Strong negotiation and client relationship management expertise at the executive level.
