Description:

Job responsibilities:

- Directly originate project sales in designated region including responding to RFPs, executing business development campaigns in targeted market segments, implementing contact plans with customers, developing and drafting project proposals, interfacing with multiple stakeholders to analyse available data and to structure and propose compelling and complete techno-commercial proposals.

- Identify and develop collaborative relationships with all EPC contractors, direct customers, and decisions influencers operating in the region and have short term/ long-term agreements for identifying the new projects.

- Develop in-depth knowledge of, and become expert in, target regions and markets, including regulatory incentives, and co- working opportunities; Identify and implement marketing initiatives and personal/professional outreach in the buildings markets, including developing origination materials, presenting to industry and identifying key marketing strategies and competitive differentiators.

- Develop installation partners through regular training and certification.

- Managing contracts for all under taken projects considering legal implications in consultation with legal department and ensure proper documentation covering all possible risk areas associated with project management and execution including back to back warranties.

- Working closely with SBS and related team at the group level for all facets of solution business.

- Develop building solutions for residential, industrial/ commercial, implement them through established Channel Partners/ Service Centres in designated region and market, identify, filter, engage, and cultivate customer contacts in support of origination strategy and sales campaigns.

- Work closely with relevant departments in the company to procure and manage stocks of all solution products.

- Track, update, coordinate, and originate opportunities directly and with team. Collaborate with other Company team members to provide a coordinated customer approach and outreach effort.

- Develop training materials and provide training to all the sales teams on all building solutions.

- Perfom other roles as assigned by the supervisor.

SUPERVISORY (provide leadership to):

- To have strong commitment to develop and supervision of business development / technical team members to build a high performance team delivering the objectives on solution business of the company; interaction with other employees within the Company to support companywide business development efforts.

Qualifications:

Education Experience:

- Bachelor's degree: Civil/Mechanical engineering with solid experience of interacting and selling the structural building solutions to direct customers and through decision influencers.

- 10+ years of experience in selling and marketing building solutions with technical bent of sales.

- Prior experience of Pre- Engineered Buildings and light gauge steel trussing systems.

Skills/ Knowledge/ Abilities:

- Strategic relationship builder with both internal/external project stakeholders demonstrating personal integrity with a win / win mindset

- Experience in opportunity identification; demonstrated success in prospecting, identifying, and qualifying new business opportunities.

- Successful at building and implementing customer acquisition plans.

- Experience in building relationships; ability to develop customer relationships through existing contacts and relationships;

- Experience in managing multiple sales and business development tasks and methods.

- Proven track record of effective communications with project stakeholders, including new customers, architects, structural engineers , Quantity surveyors, government officials, utility representatives, and community members.

- Basic legal knowledge of construction contracts, industry practices, installer management, and code of practices.

- Basic technical understanding of engineering software for building design and analysis

- Time management skills with the ability to manage multiple and fast changing priorities

- Analytical skills required to understand the economic, technological and permitting issues of a project including the ability to evaluate site plans, land surveys, environmental and title reports.

- High energy and ability to work well in a team environment with proven attention to detail.

- Ability to travel upon request.

- Willingness to work and thrive in a culture of respect, communication, and accountability in a highly dynamic environment.

- Proficiency with multiple software tools including Microsoft Word, Stadd Pro, Master-series, Auto Cad, PowerPoint and Excel, Adobe. Experience with CAD is a plus. Ability to read CAD drawings is essential.

Physical Requirements:

- Traveling to customer locations and sites including walking project sites with varying terrain and weather conditions.

Working Conditions:

- Time will be split between office environments and traveling to locations meeting with customers and other external stakeholders.
