Role Overview:
The Head of Sales & Operations will be responsible for driving revenue growth, building scalable sales processes, and ensuring operational efficiency across the organization. This role requires a strategic leader who can also operate hands-on in a fast-paced SaaS environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Revenue:
- Own end-to-end revenue targets (new business, renewals, upsell, cross-sell)
- Build and scale B2B SaaS sales strategy (SMB, Mid-Market, Enterprise)
- Drive pipeline creation, forecasting, and closure
- Establish strong sales metrics, CRM discipline, and reporting
- Lead pricing, packaging, and go-to-market strategy in collaboration with founders
Operations & Execution:
- Set up scalable sales and operational processes
- Improve customer onboarding, retention, and churn metrics
- Align Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Tech teams
- Drive operational efficiency, cost optimization, and performance tracking
- Implement SOPs, dashboards, and review mechanisms
Team Leadership:
- Hire, mentor, and lead high-performing sales & ops teams
- Build a performance-driven culture with clear KPIs
- Coach senior managers and individual contributors
Strategy & Stakeholder Management:
- Work closely with founders on growth strategy and expansion plans
- Present business performance, forecasts, and risks to leadership
- Support partnerships, alliances, and enterprise negotiations
Candidate Profile:
Must-Have:
- 12 - 20 years of experience in B2B SaaS sales and operations
- Proven track record of scaling revenue in a SaaS environment
- Strong understanding of AI / Data / Tech-led products
- Experience building teams from early stage to scale
- Hands-on leader comfortable with ambiguity and fast growth
Good to Have:
- Experience in AI, ML, Analytics, or Enterprise SaaS
- Startup / growth-stage exposure
- Experience working directly with founders or board
Education:
- MBA from a Tier-1 / Tier-2 institute preferred
- Engineering + MBA is a plus
Location:
- Flexible / Metro cities (details to be shared with shortlisted candidates)

- Highly competitive fixed + variable
