Key Responsibilities:
- Lead sales & marketing for solar modules in the Indian market, with a strong focus on government tenders, DISCOMs, SECI, and state nodal agencies.
- Build and manage relationships with EPC contractors, channel partners, and corporate customers.
- Drive sales through project-based orders, institutional clients, and distribution networks.
- Develop market entry strategies for emerging solar policies and state-specific programs.
- Track upcoming solar projects and ensure timely participation in tenders.
- Formulate pricing, bid strategy, and commercial negotiation plans.
- Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and trade associations to strengthen brand presence.
- Collaborate with operations and supply chain to ensure timely delivery and after-sales service.
- Monitor sales performance, pipeline, and competitor activity, and present regular business updates to management.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a sales team to achieve revenue and market share goals.
Qualifications & Experience:
- MBA/PGDM in Marketing/Business, with an engineering background preferred.
- 10+ years of sales & marketing experience in Renewable Energy/Power/Electrical industry, with at least 5+ years in solar module business.
- Strong track record of winning government tenders and driving EPC sales in India.
- Excellent understanding of MNRE policies, SECI tenders, and state-level renewable energy programs.
- Demonstrated ability in business strategy, negotiation, and stakeholder management.
