Role Overview
Lead domestic and international B2B sales for a garment export & manufacturing unit. Own GTM, key accounts, pricing, and market expansion while orchestrating production, merchandising, and logistics for on-time, in-spec deliveries.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue & Key Accounts: Grow strategic buyers (brands/retailers/importers), expand wallet share, and build a qualified global pipeline.
GTM & Marketing: Develop segment-wise GTM, catalogs/line sheets, sampling calendars, and trade show presence; run targeted outreach and buyer presentations.
Pricing & Contracts: Own costing, negotiations, and terms (Incoterms, payment instruments incl. LC); secure profitable, repeat programs.
Forecasting & Governance: Maintain accurate forecasts in CRM; drive order book health, margin mix, and quarterly reviews with leadership.
Production Orchestration: Align with merchandising, planning, and quality to meet TNA, AQL, and OTIF commitments.
Compliance & Documentation: Ensure export documentation, buyer standards, and audits (e.g., BSCI/SEDEX) as required by customers/markets.
Market Development: Identify new geographies, categories, and channel partners; execute entry plans and qualification cycles.
Team Leadership: Build, coach, and performance-manage the sales & marketing team.
Ideal Profile:
- Proven track record in garment export sales with global buyer relationships and long-cycle deal management.
- Strong command of costing, TNA, capacity planning, and quality/compliance expectations of international buyers.
- Skilled negotiator with commercial acumen (pricing, margins, payment terms, risk).
- Comfortable with international travel and C-suite engagements.
- Tools: CRM, advanced Excel/Sheets; familiarity with buyer/vendor portals.
Success Metrics (12 months):
- Revenue and gross margin growth; increased repeat business and average order value.
- OTIF adherence and reduced cancellations/claims.
- New geographies/buyers onboarded and qualified to recurring orders.
- Predictable forecast accuracy and improved working-capital turns.
