Role Overview
The Head of Sales & Growth will be responsible for building and executing the company's revenue and market expansion strategy in India.
This is a builder role for someone who can operate at both strategic and execution levels. The ideal candidate will act as a growth strategist, business development leader, and sales operator, helping shape the company's go-to-market model while personally driving early revenue and partnerships.
You will work directly with the founders to define commercial strategy, distribution channels, partnerships, and scalable sales systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Revenue & Growth Strategy:
- Develop and execute the company's India go-to-market strategy
- Identify high-value customer segments and distribution channels
- Build scalable sales playbooks and revenue frameworks
- Drive customer acquisition, retention, and expansion
- Own revenue targets and commercial performance metrics
Business Development & Strategic Partnerships:
Build partnerships across the healthcare ecosystem:
a. Hospitals
b. Clinics
c. Diagnostics networks
d. Insurance companies
e. Corporate healthcare programs
f. Digital health platforms
g. Emerging smart diagnostics providers
- Structure strategic partnerships that accelerate platform adoption
- Lead negotiations and partnership agreements
Sales Leadership:
- Build the company's sales organization from the ground up
- Develop sales processes, pipeline management, and CRM systems
- Recruit and manage regional sales teams as the company scales
- Define sales compensation models and performance metrics
- Implement repeatable B2C, B2B2C and B2B sales processes
Market Development:
- Identify new growth opportunities across India
- Develop expansion strategies across cities and regions
- Work closely with product teams to align customer needs with product roadmap
- Translate market insights into new revenue opportunities
Founder-Level Collaboration:
- Work directly with founders on pricing, monetization, and commercial strategy
- Contribute to investor materials and growth planning
- Help shape the long-term business model and distribution strategy
Ideal Candidate Profile:
We are looking for someone who combines strategic thinking with execution discipline.
Experience:
- 10+ years in sales, growth, or business development
- Experience scaling B2C and B2B or platform-based businesses
- Background or deep understanding in healthcare, healthtech, digital health, or healthcare product and services strongly preferred
- Experience in early-stage or high-growth startup environments
- Proven track record of building revenue from zero to scale
