Role Overview
The Head of Sales & Business Growth will own revenue, client acquisition, sales strategy, and monetization across all Tallento.ai verticals.
This is a P&L ownership role, not a team-handling-only position.
You will work directly with the Founder & Leadership Team to:
- Build scalable sales engines
- Crack enterprise & institutional deals
- Structure pricing, subscriptions & partnerships
- Prepare Tallento.ai for funding & national expansion
Key Responsibilities
1. Revenue & Growth Ownership
- Own monthly, quarterly & annual revenue targets
- Build and execute multi-channel sales strategy (Inside Sales + Enterprise Sales + Partnerships)
- Drive revenue from recruitment services, client subscriptions, job portal & ATS products, AI hiring tools & enterprise plans
2. Sales Team Building & Leadership
- Hire, train, and scale BD Executives, Managers & Key Account Teams
- Define sales KPIs, conversion benchmarks, and lead-to-closure SOPs
- Implement CRM discipline, follow-up systems & pipeline hygiene
3. Enterprise & Institutional Sales
- Close large-ticket clients including coaching chains, school groups, universities, EdTech & IT companies
- Handle negotiations, pricing discussions, annual contracts, and long-term partnerships
4. Pricing, Monetization & Packaging
- Design and refine client pricing slabs, subscription models, and bundled offerings
- Balance growth vs profitability and reduce dependency on free services
5. Market Expansion & Partnerships
- Open new verticals including IT & SaaS hiring and non-teaching roles
- Build strategic partnerships with institutes, HRMS/ATS platforms, recruiter networks, and industry bodies
6. Founder & Board-Level Collaboration
- Work closely with Founder on GTM strategy, revenue forecasting, investor decks & metrics
- Represent Tallento.ai in high-stakes client meetings, conferences, and strategic discussions
Who Should Apply (Ideal Profile)
Must-Have
- 8 -15 years of experience in B2B sales or business leadership
- Experience in recruitment, HR services, SaaS, EdTech, or B2B platforms
- Strong deal-closing & negotiation skills
- Experience managing high-performing sales teams
- Deep understanding of Indian enterprise & institutional buyers
Good-to-Have (Strong Advantage)
- Experience selling hiring services, SaaS, or annual enterprise contracts
- Startup or scale-up exposure
- Experience preparing sales org for funding or rapid growth
