Role Objective
To build and scale dedicated verticals for the Solar, Electric Vehicles (EV), and Aerospace & Defence sectors by identifying key customers, understanding sector-specific needs, developing supplier relationships, and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and own the go-to-market strategy for each category: Solar, EV, and Aerospace & Defense.
- Build a pipeline of potential clients across EPC contractors, OEMs, component manufacturers, and government bodies.
- Analyze category-specific product requirements (e.g., specific grades of steel, corrosion resistance, certifications).
- Establish partnerships with relevant mills, stockists, and international suppliers.
- Collaborate with the pricing, operations, and logistics teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities in each segment and adjust the strategy accordingly.
- Work closely with marketing to position the company as a preferred partner in these niche sectors.
- Drive P&L accountability for the assigned categories.
