Position Summary:
We are seeking an accomplished Business Head to lead our Sales and Marketing function with full P&L ownership. The role is responsible for driving revenue growth, developing strategic go-to-market plans, and ensuring operational excellence across all business units. The ideal candidate will combine strong leadership, strategic thinking, and execution capabilities to deliver sustainable business performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute the overall business strategy for sales and marketing aligned with organizational goals.
- Take full ownership of P&L, ensuring profitability, growth, and operational efficiency.
- Identify and pursue new market opportunities and business segments.
Sales & Marketing:
- Lead Sales and Marketing teams to achieve revenue and market share targets.
- Define and implement go-to-market strategies, pricing, and channel optimization plans.
- Drive key account management, strategic partnerships, and customer engagement initiatives.
Team & Talent Management:
- Build, mentor, and retain a high-performing team.
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and customer focus.
Business Planning & Reporting:
- Monitor and analyze business performance, prepare periodic reports for the MD and executive committee.
- Recommend strategic actions based on market trends, competitor analysis, and customer insights.
- Ensure compliance with corporate governance and organizational policies.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 20-25 years of experience in Sales & Marketing within the agrochemical, fertilizer, crop nutrition, or related industry.
- Proven experience in P&L management, business strategy, and market expansion.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in managing large teams and cross-functional collaboration.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to drive growth in competitive, industry-specific markets.
