Head - Sales
Description:
The role requires a seasoned sales leader from the BPO/BPM industry, with proven expertise in enterprise sales, strategic account management, and building scalable sales organizations.
The Sales Head will work closely with the executive leadership team to align sales initiatives with overall business objectives while ensuring a customer-first, value-driven sales approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and drive the companys overall sales function with full accountability for revenue growth, pipeline development, and enterprise client acquisition in the domestic market.
- Analyze and interpret sales trends using historical data, market intelligence, and competitor insights to assess performance and guide strategic decisions.
- Develop, execute, and continuously refine the sales strategy aligned with business goals, market dynamics, and customer needs within the BPO/BPM ecosystem.
- Set clear sales targets, forecasts, and performance benchmarks, and ensure effective communication of objectives across the sales organization.
- Build, lead, and retain a high-performing enterprise sales team by partnering with HR on recruitment, onboarding, training, coaching, and performance management.
- Foster a results-oriented and ethical sales culture focused on long-term value creation rather than short-term wins.
- Oversee enterprise account management and ensure strong, long-term relationships with key domestic clients across industries served by BPO/BPM.
- Ensure close collaboration between Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Customer Service teams to deliver a seamless and customer-centric sales experience.
- Drive customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention by ensuring the sales process prioritizes client needs and business outcomes over individual sales incentives.
- Oversee sales operations to ensure processes, tools, and methodologies are efficient, scalable, and aligned with organizational requirements.
- Continuously evaluate and optimize sales processes to identify inefficiencies, improve productivity, and accelerate deal closures.
- Establish robust performance monitoring systems to track key metrics such as pipeline health, conversion ratios, win rates, and revenue growth.
- Provide accurate, data-driven reports and insights to senior leadership to support strategic planning and resource allocation.
- Leverage modern sales technologies and CRM platforms to automate workflows, reduce administrative effort, and enable sales teams to focus on high-value enterprise engagements.
- Ensure effective integration of sales systems with other enterprise platforms to enable data-driven decision-making and cross-functional alignment.
Candidate Profile:
- Minimum 15+ years of experience in sales and sales leadership roles, mandatorily from the BPO/BPM industry.
- Strong expertise in enterprise sales with a proven track record of closing and managing large domestic accounts.
- Deep understanding of the domestic market, enterprise buying behavior, and long-cycle consultative sales.
- Demonstrated ability to build and scale high-performing sales teams.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- High analytical capability with experience using data to drive sales strategy and performance.
- Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving, time management, and execution skills.
