Head of Sales


Job Description:


We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Head of Sales to lead our sales strategy, drive revenue growth, and manage a high-performance sales team.

The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and a deep understanding of sales operations, market dynamics, and customer relationship management.

You will be responsible for shaping our go-to-market strategy, setting ambitious sales goals, and ensuring the organization meets its business targets.


Key Responsibilities


Sales Strategy & Execution:


- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with business goals.

- Identify new markets, customer segments, and revenue opportunities.

- Drive annual, quarterly, and monthly sales planning and forecasting.


Team Leadership & Development:


- Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team across regions and verticals.

- Set clear performance expectations and KPIs.

- Provide regular coaching, training, and development to ensure skill enhancement.


Business Development & Client Acquisition:


- Lead key account acquisition and retention efforts.

- Foster long-term client relationships and strategic partnerships.

- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.


Performance Management:


- Analyze and interpret sales performance data.

- Report on key metrics to senior leadership and recommend improvements.

- Monitor competitors and market trends to adjust strategies accordingly.


Cross-Functional Collaboration:


- Work closely with marketing, product, and operations teams to support sales initiatives.

- Provide market feedback to influence product development and pricing strategies.


Required Skills & Qualifications:


- MBA preferred)


- 15+ years of experience in sales, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role

- Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets

- Strong understanding of CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.)

- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills

- Deep knowledge of sales analytics, pipeline management, and forecasting

- Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach

- Experience managing pan-India or international sales teams

- Strong network of industry contacts

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
