Head - Safety - Residential Project

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Head - Safety to lead and drive the organization's Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) strategy across all residential construction projects. The role involves ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, implementing best-in-class safety practices, and fostering a strong safety culture across sites.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and standards across all residential projects

- Ensure compliance with local statutory safety regulations and legal requirements

- Lead safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments across multiple project sites

- Drive zero-incident culture and continuous safety improvement initiatives

- Oversee incident investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective actions

- Conduct regular safety training programs, toolbox talks, and awareness campaigns

- Collaborate with project, engineering, and contractor teams to ensure safe execution of construction activities

- Monitor and report safety KPIs, compliance metrics, and performance dashboards to leadership

- Manage and mentor the site safety teams across projects

- Ensure proper use of PPE, safety systems, and emergency preparedness protocols

- Liaise with government authorities and external agencies for compliance and audits

Key Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Diploma in Safety / Industrial Safety

- Certifications such as NEBOSH / IOSH / OSHA preferred

- 18-25 years of experience in construction safety, with strong exposure to residential projects

- Proven experience in handling large-scale, multi-site residential developments

- Strong knowledge of construction safety standards, risk management, and compliance frameworks

- Leadership experience in managing large safety teams

- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
