
Job Purpose:
- Manage Risk & Surveillance function for the Broking clients, undertake leverage enhancement decisions based on Client profiling and ensure control over Debtor Management with a view to minimize credit risk.
- To prevent Unauthorized trades (UT) in Client A/c by Branch Dealers & Business Partners.
- AML monitoring / Analyzing Trading pattern of Clients and reporting suspicious transaction to Financial Intelligence Unit of India (FIU IND).
Job details:
- The Risk Management (RMS) department is responsible for ensuring Real Time monitoring of Client level, Security level and Member level monitoring of positions, making adjustment to client positions based on market movements & breach of pre-defined limits and supporting the Branches/ BPs during trade hours.
- The Surveillance department is responsible for Real Time Trade monitoring, ensuring Client Trade confirmations, Investor Grievances and AML / FIU Reporting. The Primary responsibility of Head Risk Management & Surveillance is to ensure on-time implementation of policy & guidelines as specified by Exchanges / SEBI for the Broking operations.
- Job holder has to ensure Debtors Management of Offline and Online clients who trade in Equity / Commodity / Currency segments. He has to monitor and manage process enhancement with the purview of mitigating Liquidity risk, Market risk & Operational risk.
- He has to develop process to monitor Surveillance Activity at Branch / BP office and ensure 100% compliance to SEBI circular on maintenance of proof of Client order consent by respective dealers, thereby control Fraud risk and UnAuthorised trade complaint risk (UT).
Major Challenges:
- The key challenge faced by the role holder include a detailed and constant level of monitoring of market movements, adjustments to client positions based on sensitivity analysis during volatile market conditions and implementing the new and stringent exchange/ SEBI rules on a time to time basis while maintaining the least impact of business continuity.
