Head - Retail Broking Operations

Role Overview:

A leading financial services organization is seeking a senior leader to head its retail broking operations function. The role will own end-to-end operations across account opening, KYC, settlements, demat, margin management and client servicing. The incumbent will drive regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, technology-led process improvements and team leadership. The role requires strong exposure to SEBI, exchanges, depositories and broking operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Own end-to-end retail broking operations, including settlements, demat, KYC, margin and client servicing.

- Ensure compliance with SEBI, exchange, depository and internal regulatory requirements.

- Drive process standardization, automation and operational efficiency.

- Lead, develop and manage the retail broking operations team.

- Oversee operational risk, controls, audits and regulatory requirements.

- Manage key stakeholder relationships with exchanges, depositories, clearing corporations and regulators.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

- 10-16 years of relevant experience in retail broking operations.

- Strong hands-on understanding of broking operations, settlements and depository processes.

- Proven leadership experience managing sizeable operations teams.

- Strong knowledge of SEBI, NSE, BSE, NSDL and CDSL regulatory frameworks.

- Experience driving technology-led process improvement and operational transformation.

- Must be willing to work onsite from Kolkata.
