Head - Research - IIM/ISB/MDI/FMS/CA/CFA

Currently there is an opening for a Head of Research - Global Markets to lead our multi geography research desk. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in global macro, equities, ETFs, commodities, and alternative assets, and the ability to convert insights into high conviction investment strategies for HNIs, UHNIs, and global families.

You will head the entire research function, build frameworks, oversee analysts or bring/ build your own team of analysts, drive thematic research, and work closely with the Global Business Head to shape products and recommendations across US, EU, China, Japan, EMs, and GCC.

Key Responsibilities:

Global Markets Research & Strategy:

- Lead and build the global research desk across multi-asset categories.

- Drive macro, sectoral, and geopolitical research for U.S., Europe, China, Japan, and emerging markets.

- Develop investment theses, market outlooks, and tactical allocation strategies.

- Publish high-quality research notes, thematic reports, and CIO-level commentaries.

Product & Portfolio Insights:

- Evaluate and shortlist ETFs, global equities, structured products, commodities, and alternative investments.

- Work closely with Product & Advisory teams to design global investment baskets, thematic portfolios, and model portfolios.

- Maintain buy/sell triggers, valuation frameworks, and risk dashboards.

Leadership & Governance:

- Mentor analysts and manage end-to-end research output quality.

- Ensure compliance, data governance, and global-standard documentation.

- Collaborate with Digital & Technology teams to integrate research into the advisory platform.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

- 7-15 years of experience in global equity research, multi-asset research, buy-side research, or portfolio strategy.

- Strong macro understanding: rates, FX, geopolitics, commodities, sector cycles.

- Ability to translate research into client-ready insights.

- Prior experience in PMS, AIF, Private Wealth, or Global Advisory preferred.

- Qualifications: CFA, MBA (Top Tier), CA, FRM, or equivalent.

- Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
