We are seeking a visionary and results-driven R&D Head to lead the research, innovation, and product development function. The role will be responsible for defining the organization's innovation strategy, driving new product development, advancing material and manufacturing technologies, and building a strong innovation ecosystem that supports long-term business growth and market leadership.

Key Responsibilities :

- Define and execute the R&D vision, strategy, and technology roadmap aligned with business objectives and market opportunities.

- Lead innovation initiatives across product design, materials, manufacturing processes, and emerging technologies to enhance product performance, quality, and customer experience.

- Drive end-to-end product development from concept generation, research, prototyping, validation, and testing through commercialization and market launch.

- Establish robust product development frameworks, ensuring timely delivery, quality, regulatory compliance, and commercial viability.

- Evaluate and implement advanced technologies such as 3D printing, AI-driven design and modeling, smart materials, simulation tools, and digital product development methodologies.

- Ensure products adhere to applicable national and international standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.

- Partner closely with Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Sales teams to ensure successful product development and launch execution.

- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing multidisciplinary R&D team comprising product designers, engineers, scientists, and technical specialists.

- Foster a culture of innovation, scientific excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the organization.

- Develop and manage R&D budgets, resource planning, project prioritization, and portfolio governance.

- Identify emerging market trends, customer needs, competitive developments, and technological advancements to drive innovation opportunities.

- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, healthcare professionals, research organizations, technology providers, and industry experts to accelerate innovation.

- Lead intellectual property strategy, including patent identification, filing, protection, and portfolio management.

- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to safeguard intellectual property rights and ensure freedom to operate.

- Present innovation roadmaps, project progress, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and key stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 15 - 24 years of experience in Research & Development, Product Innovation, Product Engineering, or Technology Leadership roles.

- Proven track record of leading large-scale product development and innovation programs from concept to commercialization.

- Strong understanding of product design, materials engineering, manufacturing technologies, and product lifecycle management.

- Experience managing multidisciplinary R&D teams and driving innovation-led business growth.

- Strong knowledge of regulatory, quality, and compliance requirements applicable to product development.

- Demonstrated experience in technology evaluation, innovation management, and strategic planning.

- Experience working with cross-functional teams to bring products successfully to market.

- Strong project management, stakeholder management, and leadership capabilities.
