Head - Recycle Business - International Market - Metal Scrap

Position: Head - Recycle Business (International, Inbound)

Location: Gurgaon

Experience: 15+ years (including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role in metal scrap / recycled products trading)

A fast-growing global trading house with active positions in ferrous, non-ferrous metals and other recycled products. The company focuses on driving operational efficiency and transparency across fragmented supply chains through technology and data-driven solutions.

Role Overview:

Lead and scale the international recycled products trading desk covering ferrous & non-ferrous metals, plastics, e-waste, batteries, tyres, rubber, etc. You will drive strategy, commercial performance, team leadership, business development and supplier/customer relationships, reporting directly to senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

- Build and implement commercial strategy aligned with business goals

- Lead a high-performing cross-regional team

- Identify and capture new market opportunities and product lines

- Oversee supply chain, cost management, and risk mitigation

- Cultivate relationships with key suppliers, customers and industry partners

- Ensure compliance with regulations and manage business risks

- Present regular performance and market reports to leadership

What Were Looking For:

- Deep understanding of recycled products (ferrous & non-ferrous scrap, plastics, e-waste, etc.)

- Proven track record in commercial decision making & P&L responsibility

- Strong leadership, negotiation and market analysis skills

- Ability to work across global markets and build supplier & customer networks
