Role Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned leader to spearhead our Record to Report (R2R) transformation initiatives across our global finance operations. In this strategic role, you will act as the primary architect for process re-engineering, leveraging automation, advanced analytics, and best-in-class accounting frameworks to drive operational excellence. You will collaborate closely with senior finance leadership, global process owners, and cross-functional stakeholders to dismantle operational silos and implement scalable, future-ready financial workflows. By championing a culture of continuous improvement, you will directly influence the organization's financial agility, ensuring that our reporting cycles are not only compliant and accurate but also serve as a catalyst for informed business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute comprehensive R2R transformation roadmaps to modernize financial close processes, ensuring alignment with global business objectives and scalability requirements.
- Lead large-scale change management initiatives by engaging with regional finance teams to drive the adoption of new technologies and standardized accounting practices.
- Identify and eliminate process bottlenecks through rigorous root-cause analysis, significantly reducing cycle times and enhancing the quality of financial data.
- Partner with IT and digital transformation teams to integrate intelligent automation and ERP enhancements that streamline complex reconciliation and reporting tasks.
- Establish robust governance frameworks and performance metrics to monitor the impact of process changes, ensuring sustained operational efficiency and internal control integrity.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated expertise in end-to-end R2R processes, including general ledger accounting, intercompany settlements, and financial consolidation within complex, multi-entity environments.
- Proven ability to lead large-scale process transformation projects, utilizing methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma to deliver measurable improvements in operational performance.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership and navigate organizational resistance during significant cultural and structural transitions.
- Strong analytical acumen to translate complex financial data into strategic insights, coupled with a deep understanding of modern ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
- A postgraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, or an MBA from a premier institute, complemented by a track record of managing distributed, high-performing teams.
- High degree of adaptability to work effectively in a pan-India, hybrid, or remote environment, maintaining seamless communication across diverse geographical locations.
