Head - R&D - Dairy

One of our leading MNC clients in the dairy industry has a diverse portfolio spanning milk, cheese, yogurt, butter, dairy ingredients, and value-added dairy products.

This role, Head R&D, will lead the Product Development, Innovation, Process Development, and Sensory Sciences agenda.

The incumbent would be responsible for driving innovation across the dairy portfolio, developing differentiated products, optimizing formulations and manufacturing processes, identifying cost-reduction opportunities, and supporting strategic business growth initiatives.

As a leader, you will serve as the key technical authority for product innovation and commercialization, partnering closely with Commercial, Marketing, Manufacturing, Quality, Procurement, and Global R&D teams to deliver consumer-centric products and sustainable competitive advantage.

Requirements:

- Master's degree or PhD in Dairy Technology, Food Technology, Food Science, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or related disciplines.

- 15-25 years of progressive experience in dairy, food, beverages, ingredients, or consumer products industries.

- Proven leadership experience in product development, innovation, process development, and commercialization.

- Strong understanding of dairy technologies, fermentation, cultures, cheese, yogurt, and value-added dairy products.

- Demonstrated success in managing innovation pipelines and leading large cross-functional teams.

- Experience working in multinational or large-scale food organizations preferred.
