Role Overview:

The Head - R&D is a critical leadership position responsible for driving innovation and technological advancement within the manufacturing operations. This role involves leading a team of engineers and researchers, managing the R&D budget, and collaborating with production teams to implement new technologies and processes. The Head - R&D will directly impact the company's ability to develop cutting-edge products, improve manufacturing efficiency, and maintain a competitive edge in the market.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute the R&D strategy in alignment with the company's overall business objectives, ensuring innovation and technological leadership.

- Manage the R&D budget effectively, optimizing resource allocation to maximize the return on investment for the organization.

- Lead and mentor a team of R&D engineers and researchers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement for team members.

- Collaborate with production teams to implement new technologies and processes, improving manufacturing efficiency and product quality for the company.

- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends, providing insights and recommendations to senior management to inform strategic decision-making.

- Oversee the development of new products and processes from concept to commercialization, ensuring successful product launches and market adoption for customers.

- Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards and regulations, maintaining the company's reputation for quality and safety.

- Establish and maintain relationships with external research institutions and technology partners, leveraging external expertise to enhance the company's R&D capabilities.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage R&D teams in a manufacturing environment.

- Proven expertise in budgeting and financial management related to R&D activities.

- Strong understanding of production processes and manufacturing technologies.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

- Ability to think strategically and translate business objectives into actionable R&D plans.

- Master's degree or PhD in Engineering or a related field.

- Adaptability to work on-site in Lucknow.
