Head - Quality - Manufacturing

Role Overview:

A senior leadership role responsible for driving enterprise-wide Quality Systems and governance across multiple manufacturing plants, ensuring compliance with regulatory, customer, and internal standards while enabling sustainable and scalable operations.

Core Mandate:

- Define and execute the overall Quality strategy aligned with business goals and customer requirements

- Build and standardize robust Quality Management Systems (QMS) across production, warehouse, packing, and support functions

- Drive quality integration in New Product Introduction (NPI) through gate reviews, risk assessment, and validation frameworks

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead QMS deployment including CAPA, deviation management, change control, risk assessment, and complaint handling

- Ensure harmonization of SOPs and regulatory compliance across all plants

- Anchor regulatory & customer audits, including audit readiness, response, and closure

- Drive internal audits, supplier audits, and compliance governance across the ecosystem

- Oversee quality performance (KPIs)quality, cost, delivery, and service metrics

- Ensure strong process control, validation, and product release systems, including flawless NPI launches

- Guide QC labs, testing standards, and validation protocols

- Build organizational capability through training, awareness, and leadership of quality teams

Leadership Scope:

- Lead and develop the central Quality function across plants

- Define KPIs, track performance, and drive continuous improvement across teams

Ideal Profile:

- 18+ years in Quality Management within manufacturing (automotive / heavy engineering / components)

- Strong expertise in QMS (ISO 9001 / IATF 16949), APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, SPC / SQC / Cpk, CAPA, and audits

- Exposure to multi-plant quality governance, supplier quality, and NPI quality systems

- Familiarity with SAP QM and ISO 14000 (preferred)

- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and audit handling experience

- Experience in multiple plants handling, precision machining and preferably with a turnover of more than 7K will be preferred.
